Welcome!

We are a non political "Living History Society", we do not promote or support the Third Reich, Nazi ideology, nor do we support revisionist, racist or extreme political views in any form. We will NOT tolerate any member who has extreme political views, nor do we wish to associate with any such persons or political groups.

W.A.R.S. Das Reich Re-enactment Society is formed by members who have an historical interest in the Axis Armed Forces of WWII.

W.A.R.S. Das Reich came into existence in the summer of 2002. Most of the core members of Das Reich are Re-enactment veterans with many years of experience and knowledge in the subject. Das Reich, portray Grenadiers from the 2 Kompanie, Aufklärungabteilung (reconnaissance battalion) of the 2nd SS Panzergrenadier Division “Das Reich”.

Our impression has its historical base in the Russian front campaigns and "Operation Citadel" the Kursk offensive, , during the summer of 1943.

The W.A.R.S. Das Reich society has its membership capped to a maximum of 30 members. We like and want to maintain a friendly atmosphere; and by keeping the membership at this level it gives everyone a “hands on” approach to the hobby.

Das Reich is the founding member group of (W.A.R.S.) the WWII Axis Re-enactment Society, W.A.R.S. has grown and flourished in the past few years and now boasts thirteen Axis, Historical groups in the family.

The society takes part in varied events throughout the year, usually one every 4-6 weeks. These take the form of private training sessions held on private land in the winter months.

Public events such as 1940's weekends on preserved steam railway lines, we attend major Multi-period and World War II, re-enactment events such as War and Peace, Military Odyssey, The Victory Show and many other fine re-enactment events, throughout the United Kingdom.
